Breaker Prayers

Break fallow ground, fertilize ground for seed and fresh water. Prepare ground and soil of our hearts and minds to receive seed of the future and next steps for ministry in us as individuals and as a faith community.  

Break the bands of mindsets stained with the things of old. Traditions, religion, and the old ways of doing things in and for your Kingdom. Galatians 3:13 records that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.”  

Break curses: word curses spoken by anyone in this house and those outside this house. Break alignments any of us have come into, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Break the curses of soul ties and unfruitful relationships. Break and undo all hexes and cancel and undo all incantations rehearsed over us by those workers of iniquity and children of the Devil.  

Holy Spirit, break us: our mindsets and fixations to the things we think should be; break us to the point that we depend on you for everything, that you break our allegiances to systems, people, and structures that hinder us from experiencing the fullness of who you are; Holy Spirit, please break off of us pride and stubbornness and alliances to religion and institutions.  

We break the assignments and the back of demonic influences and activities in heavenly realms that come against us, our families, this community, this region, and our relationships. We stop the forces of Satan from operating successfully in these areas. We decree that any weapons formed will not prosper, in Jesus’ name. We recognize that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places, as told us by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12. God, you said, according to Isaiah 54:17 that “No weapon that is fashioned against us shall succeed, and we shall confute or cast down every tongue that rises against us in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and our vindication is from you. Thank you, Father, for vindicating us from the snares of Satan.  

We break demonic influences and pressures coming against our marriages and children; we decree that parent relationships will be mended, in Jesus’ name. Where the enemy is speaking to husbands and wives, mother and fathers, sons and daughters…break the influence of his voice in our ears, hearts, and spirits. Cover us and cause us not to experience or entertain his voice, but yours only.  

Break the silence of your sons and daughters, your spiritual ambassadors who have been released to see and discern and cry out against the whiles of Satan and against the wickedness coming against the Body of Christ and the people of God. Release the voices and the sound of the intercessors, prophets, apostles, teachers, evangelists, and pastors to BOLDY and COURAGEOUSLY speak and pray what you’re saying by your Spirit. Please release the gifted to flow and move by your Spirit to lead sinners to Jesus Christ, undo the burdens of religion, and bring glory to you, Father.  

Father, please break and tear down every spiritual wall and fortress the enemy has built up around us, our church, and the ministry of our church. Break the power of the words ill-spoken by those who do not want to see us prosper as your church. We break the spirits of fear, doubt, anxiety, and apprehension, in Jesus’ name.
