Closure

1) Closure: act or process of closing something; procedure for ending debate

2) Closure: interaction, information or practice that allows a person to feel that a traumatic, upsetting or confusing life event has been resolved

3) Finding Closure: implies a complete acceptance of what has happened and an honoring of the transition away from what's finished to something new.

Closure describes the ability to go beyond imposed limitations in order to find different possibilities.

Five Ways to Find Closure:

1) Take full responsibility for yourself

2) Grieve the loss

3) Gather your strengths

4) Plan for the immediate future

5) Create a ritual
